Addition
Changing Notcutt House into a modern office building meant adding a large amount of new services. In order not to lose the character of the building the new services were concentrated near the existing staircase. The
glass block facade of the new service tower runs East to West through the building and encloses a new extension to the West. Fire resistance technology meant we could use one module of glass block in three different fire
ratings - which allows in more daylight and unifies the internal and external facades of the services tower.
